A History Of Pizza

Pizza is a food with neapolitan origin, and is now one of the most popular dishes in the world. In ancient Greece, they had bread with herbs and cheese. And the ancient Romans had bread with cheese and honey. Modern pizza originated in Italy as a tomato pie, though in 1889, cheese was put on the pizza.

It was so popular, that in the 18th century, King Ferdinand the first, dressed up in peasent clothes and went to the maket to buy pizza. He did this because his wife had banned pizza from the royal kitchen.

In australia, pizza is very popular. People have even invented thier own styles, such as Australiana, or Aussie.

Pizza has changed food all over the world, and will still remain the most inspiring food that people will always want to sink their teeth into.
